We realise that delivery is one of the main concerns that people have when ordering from anyone online. That said, at our heart, we're customers too. We, like you, want our products quickly, securely and cost efficiently - which is exactly what we aim to do at The Rope People.
Delivery & Despatch Times
We aim to dispatch all orders within two to three working days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays).
Delivery charges start from £4.95 and all orders are shipped by a tracked courier service. Delivery charges relating to specific products will be shown prior to checkout. If it transpires an item is out of stock, we will request our supplier sends the item to you directly to save time. If this is not possible, we will contact you to see if you wish to continue with the order. However, even with the best intentions, mistakes and delays with couriers can occur and so deliveries can, at worst, take up to 21 working days (although this is extremely rare). International orders may take longer.
If you have a deadline to meet, and require rope as soon as possible, just Contact Us and we will be able to advise of delivery day and possibly expedite your order.
Free delivery is sometimes offered on basket values exceeding a set threshold for UK Mainland addresses. There will be some items which will exceed this threshold (for example, large reels of very heavy rope), for which free delivery cannot be offered. In this instance we will contact you after you have completed the checkout to discuss delivery options and charges with you. If at that time you no longer wish to continue with the purchase then we will of course refund you in full. Should you wish to clarify any delivery charges, please contact us prior to checkout.
You can check the progress and status of your order at any time by logging into your account.
What Happens If You Order An Item That Is Out Of Stock?
If you buy an item that is not in stock you will have the following choices offered to you:
- Continue with your order as placed and to receive or collect your item once it is in stock.
- Select an alternative product - you will then either be refunded or required to pay any difference in price between that of the original product ordered and the alternative product as chosen.
- To cancel your order and receive a full refund.
